The U20 World Cup will be postponed to 2023: Initially the U20 World Cup will be held in March 2021 in Indonesia but due to the unfinished condition of the COVID-19 pandemic, the U20 World Cup will be forced to be postponed until 2023.

The first FIFA U-20 World Cup was Held in Tunisia: In 1977, FIFA hosted the U-20 World Cup in Tunisia which was first coined by Harry Cavan, FIFA Executive at that time.

Argentina Is The Most Winning Country:Argentina is predicted to be the most successful team at the U-20 World Cup of all time. From 1995 to 2007, Argentina managed to bring home the trophy 5 times. Argentina also managed to find its stars from the match such as Javier Saviola, Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero.

Indonesia for the First Time to Host At the end of 2019: Indonesia managed to beat two of its competitors, Brazil and Peru to host the 22nd U-20 World Cup. This is the first milestone for Indonesia to host the world's biggest football competition.

INAFOC Assigned as Committee Early last July: President Joko Widodo decided to form INAFOC (Indonesia FIFA U-20 World Cup 2023 Organizing Committee) and appointed Zainudin Amali, Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) to be chairman of the committee. Although the chairman of INAFOC has been appointed by the president, FIFA has still directed its management structure.

Held in 6 Stadiums Spread across 5 Provinces: In its implementation, the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup will be held in 6 stadiums, namely Gelora Bung Karno Stadium Jakarta, Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium Surabaya, Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium Palembang, Manahan Solo Stadium, Kapten I Wayan Stadium Dipta Bali, and Si Jalak Harupat Stadium Bandung. The six stadiums were selected by FIFA from the 10 stadiums proposed by the government.

24 Teams Will Compete (Indonesia Group A):  In this prestigious competition, there will be 24 countries / teams competing for this championship trophy. As the host country, Indonesia has confirmed its position in Group A.
