Banten International Stadium

Description

Banten International Stadium (BIS) stands as a beacon in the Land of Champions — the heart of the Banten Sport Center in Serang. Born from the Banten Provincial Government’s ambition to create an international-standard arena, this stadium is more than just concrete and steel; it is a manifestation of identity. Its façade and roof design, inspired by the Leuit Baduy (Baduy rice barn), blend modern architecture with local wisdom — a symbolic granary built to harvest achievements.

For Datra, this project is a testament to the trust placed in us by the Banten Provincial Government and the main contractor, PT PP. They saw us as both proven specialists and a single point of accountability, entrusting all specialist scopes entirely to us. This collaboration enabled high-quality execution within a relatively limited budget, as Datra applied cross-subsidy strategies to help realize the client’s vision. Every technical justification was presented transparently, resulting in the successful handover of the stadium with zero audit findings.

Today, the stadium stands tall as proof of that achievement — yet its greatest success lies in the trust it built. In August 2025, PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir visited and expressed his appreciation, saying, “I am surprised and proud to see Banten International Stadium. This is an important asset for national football.”
