Description

This project was far more than a heritage renovation at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) — it was part of Indonesia’s preparation for the G20 Summit, where every detail had to be flawless, world-class, yet deeply rooted in local character.

In line with the government’s directive, all materials used were required to have a high Domestic Component Level (TKDN). To meet this, Datra installed Ferco Sentul seats, proudly Made in Indonesia by Ferco Indonesia, a subsidiary of Datra, built to international standards.

Working on TMII demanded the utmost care, as every element within the site is a protected cultural heritage. From dismantling and preparation to procurement and installation, every step was executed under strict procedures to preserve historical integrity while achieving modern technical standards.

The result is a source of pride for Datra. Though much of the work happened behind the scenes, this project helped shape how Indonesia presented itself to the world, technically precise, culturally respectful, and resilient under international scrutiny. In the same spirit, Datra was also entrusted with the renovation of the Taman Ismail Marzuki cultural complex, preserving its heritage while enhancing its functionality for the public.
