The need for drones in construction projects such as stadiums is very important. Drones are used to take photos and videos from the air to make it easier for the project team to see the overall progress of the project. However, did you know that drones now have other functions that are no less important?

Since the pandemic hit, drones have also been used to sanitize and disinfect stadiums. This is because many stadiums have been locked down so they cannot use cleaning service personnel. This method was first implemented at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in America, which used a special drone that had been installed with spray and carried a disinfectant tube under the belly of the drone. With this technology, disinfecting stadiums is more time efficient because drones can reach all sides of the stadium in just a few flights.

With the use of this drone, it is hoped that the disinfectant process can still be carried out to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and is safe for use by athletes and the public.
