There are several criteria that make seats in an arena or stadium comfortable, ranging from the quality of the seat material to the size of the seats themselves. However, there is something that is very important but perhaps often overlooked is the distance between chairs. The distance between the seats is very important considering the audience must have room for legs and also pass around. If confused, the simple formula for determining this is the more space to sit or walk around, the better.

We usually takes a distance ranging from about 500 mm if the chair is pulled from the right and left from the seat axis which is adjusted to the posture of Asian people in general. As for the seats between the front and back, if you use a monoblock type stadium seat that is directly attached to the concrete stands, the safe distance if we adjust it to Asian standards is from about 550 mm to 1000 mm (1 meter). However, this distance can also be adjusted according to the owner or architect as needed.
