This was the process of testing the Spectator Seats at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium before the 2018 Asian Games. This spectator seat testing is useful to ensure that the quality of all seats meets international standards. These chairs are also tested as fire resistance test, UV test and other tests at the time of fabrication to ensure the safety of the chair.

When in the field after being installed, the chair is tested by kicking it, beating it with a hammer, until it is violently stepped on and opened. This test is important considering the spectators at the Stadium will often be carried away by euphoria and possibly rioting. After the test is carried out, all parties in charge starting from Datra, Adhi Karya to representatives of the Ministry of PUPR will provide a checklist indicating the seat is appropriate.
