Plastic Waste to be Houses, Maybe?

Since the 1950s, around 9 billion tonnes of plastic have been produced and only about 10% can be recycled. This makes plastic waste one of the most important environmental issues because plastic cannot be naturally recycled by the soil if it is dumped carelessly.

There are various ways to increase plastic waste recycling, one of which is being developed by a Norwegian company called Othalo, which is to build a simple house from plastic waste. Not only made of plastic waste, this simple, affordable house is also equipped with solar panels as a source of electricity for areas that cannot be reached by electricity. It is hoped that this technology can answer the need for simple houses, as well as other buildings such as restaurants, schools and hospitals, especially in developing and underdeveloped countries and also answer the challenge of plastic waste for the environment.

When the world is working hard to reduce plastic waste, what about you? Let's start by changing our behavior from small things, namely throwing garbage in its place.
