An extraordinary experience, Datra had the opportunity to be part of the 2023 Basketball World Cup / FIBA World Cup. This event is not only a big event for the company. However, it is also great history for the nation.

The world has given confidence that Indonesia is the most appropriate venue to hold one of the biggest and most elite super sporting events in the world. And, congratulations to Germany for becoming the new world champion.

On this occasion, Datra had a number of roles to ensure the success of the entire event. This includes the readiness of seats in the spectator stands & match fields.

With detailed work, Datra installed 15,673 spectator seats at the Indonesia Arena. This figure is divided into 12,705 flip up grandstand seats. A product that is able to provide an event viewing experience with a high level of comfort thanks to its modern and ergonomic design. Also, 2,968 motorized telescopic seats to ensure flexibility and space efficiency. All these chairs, apart from being comfortable, have also been proven to be safe.

Then, install the wooden flooring of the competition field. Datra collaborated with Junckers (the FIBA World Cup's preferred wood flooring manufacturer) to install Pro Complete 44 Certified FIBA No. 1 wood flooring. This floor then also witnessed the history of intense battles between world basketball stars with the passion to represent their country.

Until all the final match schedules are completed in Jakarta, these facilities are firmly in place. The chairs and the field are waiting for competitions from various other types of sports, as well as entertainment events such as music concerts at the Indonesia Arena. They want to serve the audience so that they get a beautiful, unforgettable experience from every sporting match and entertainment event held at Indonesia's proud stadium.

Backstage Tour

In the spirit of collaboration, Datra & Junckers received a special opportunity from FIBA, namely the Backstage Tour. We invite dozens of architects and other stakeholders to take part in this activity & golden opportunity. The participants got the experience of standing directly on the wooden match floor, visiting the broadcast room, entering the players' changing room and other rooms.
